Fat Loss 4 Idiots - Non traditional dieting?

What is the deal with the way we (in America for the most part) eat? From as far
as I can remember I have known that we eat three meals a day - breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Traditionally, each one of these meals could have been quite heavy, but dinner was always the heaviest. Now this may have made sense back in the colonial days when people got up at the crack of dawn, worked and went to bed not long after sundown.

People were more physically active back then especially if they worked on a farm because they had to some type of physical work during the day even if it was only walking. So a minimalamount of exercise. Today's society and lifestyle is tremendously different. People many not eatall three meals during a 24 hour period, but they still may have that heavy dinner meal. However, this meal would be eaten closer to the time they would go to bed. None of this is good for our body, but
, for the most part, this is how we do it.

What seems to have resulted from this is that we either eat too many calories in whatever manner they are presented, or we don't get enough calories in an effort to watch our overall weight. None of this seems to be working. Over the years the average weight of Americans has increased! So what are we doing wrong, and what can we do about it?

I've recently completed my first 11 days with the Fat Loss 4 Idiots diet plan. O.k. so I didn't
lose the 9 pounds in the 11 days as advertised, but who cares! Bottom line is - I lost weight. I did however lose 7 pounds. Isn't that what you are looking for - results!

I plan on going through it again for a couple of reasons:

1. - I can stand to lose a few more pounds.

2. - I really want to change the way I eat food for the rest of my life!
